A major Mexican operator is optimising its 2G and 3G networks to improve the quality and capacity of its voice and data service. The service provider Iusacell has selected the COPS Enterprise Platform from Celcite in order to achieve efficient centralised management and automatic optimisation of its network quality.
The platform will allow Iusacell to perform more effective monitoring of its VIP customer experience - one of the most important revenue generators for any cellular network operator. The deployment will provide Iusacell's RF capacity planning and optimisation teams with an unprecedented level of control, allowing for effective load balancing of traffic in a rapidly increasing data demand environment in Mexico.
