Software provider Cerillion has won its largest contract to date after securing a GBP42.5 million (around US$57.1 million) deal with Oman-based operator Omantel.
Under the five-year agreement, Cerillion will provide its BSS/OSS software suite along with managed hosting services. The platform will support Omantel’s mobile, fixed-line and broadband operations, covering enterprise, consumer and wholesale customers.
Cerillion said it was selected following a competitive tender process against larger BSS/OSS vendors.
CEO Louis Hall said Omantel is in the process of transforming into a regional technology player as it expands Oman’s digital infrastructure, aligned with the country’s Vision 2040 economic development strategy. He added that the contract win reflects confidence in Cerillion’s technology and service capabilities.
