The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rapidly transforming into a global technology hub as it endeavours to digitise its economy and achieve economic resilience. The ground work was laid through the introduction of the National Transformation Programme and Saudi Vision 2030, a road map for achieving strategic long term goals and economic diversification. Through the course of the year, strategic partnerships have been forged and substantial investments made, as the Kingdom looks to bolster the manufacturing sector, build digital infrastructure, digitise government entities and provide support to small and medium sized enterprises. The Kingdom aims to achieve 70% localisation of manufacturing by 2021, creating tremendous opportunities in the region.
Factoring the long terms goals of the Kingdom, The Saudi IR4 Summit will bring together key government stakeholders, major players from the private sector, renowned consultants and subject matter experts at one platform to provide insights on best practices, emerging technologies, upcoming projects and addressing challenges.
