Product Development Support for new services is the key to dynamic and successful growth of telecoms operators. CBOSS has announced a new service - Product Development Support - which allows telecom operators to enjoy fast time-to-market and exceptional efficiency for their new innovative services and marketing campaigns.

Azerfon logoToday, the telecoms market is witnessing stiff competition and ongoing fight for customer loyalty. In this environment, telecommunications companies face the need to stay ahead of their competition and roll out new state-of-the-art and unique services. Here, such benefits as accelerated time-to-market and capability to take advantage of existing tools to support innovative marketing campaigns and accommodate business requirements gain crucial importance.

New service rollout is a multi-stage process, which includes gathering of operator's business requirements, analysis of their technical feasibility, project design, consultations between various operator's divisions and the solution vendor, requirement optimization, and more. Project participants may also have to deal with multiple iterations at each stage, which leads to longer time-to-market as coordination and revision deadlines may be postponed or some of the planned features may turn out to be unfeasible when the project is already running. In this case, resource usage is usually higher than expected, while overall project efficiency - much lower. These problems are familiar to many operators, whether they run their own proven R&D and deployment processes or not.

To tackle these challenges and minimize telco's technical and organizational risks, CBOSS Corporation offers Product Development Support. CBOSS consultants and analysts coordinate new service deployments, and technical staff is responsible for implementation issues. The service may be aimed at developing a new product from scratch - starting from product design and up to its commissioning. In other cases, the service can help support existing service development and deployment processes. While providing support for product and service development, implementation and commissioning, the experts can take advantage of CBOSS resources and proven track record of successful international partnerships, allowing CBOSS to fully meet the needs and expectations of every customer.

During the Product Development Support projects, CBOSS experts analyze customer's business requirements, control their feasibility, design the project schedule and deadlines, and assign responsibilities for each stage - from requirement analysis to service configuration and deployment.

The participation of CBOSS consultants at every project stage ensures efficient cooperation between CBOSS and the customer's business and technical divisions. For the customer, this means accurate analysis of business requirement feasibility at early project stages and access to CBOSS' strong practical expertise. The telco is guaranteed to get the optimized solution, with all revisions prepared in advance, resulting in faster time-to-market, coupled with reduced risks and expenses. Moreover, CBOSS takes responsibility for successful implementation of the target product or service.

CBOSS is currently carrying out a business development support project in AZERFON LLC (Nar Mobile brand, Azerbaijan). Several loyalty campaigns aimed at encouraging active usage and service promotion in Azerbaijan are already underway. New campaigns and services are scheduled to become available very soon.

Ilya Kuznetsov, Deputy IT Director at AZERFON LLC, says, "With CBOSS Product Development Support, we were able to save a significant amount of time that it takes to develop and launch new marketing campaigns thus having left behind our competitors by a number of campaigns which were quite attractive for the market. This allowed our company to increase the market share. We are looking forward to our further mutually beneficial cooperation."

Product Development Support allows telecom operators to maximize the functionality of CBOSS convergent solution, roll out new attractive services and marketing campaigns and, consequently, achieve their financial goals. Subscribers, in their turn, can enjoy a full range of services driven by the software-hardware solution from CBOSS. This results in stronger customer loyalty and improved acquisition rates supporting dynamic growth and boosted efficiency of operators' business, coupled with faster return on investment.
