The tender invites bids for the supply and installation of a complete explosion proof, ruggedised communications system for the plant which is a major producer of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG).
The Tang-e-Bijar gas field is in the Ilam province of Iran. It has been developed rapidly since 2005 and now has an out put of around 7m cubic meters per day. Three existing wells have been repaired and three new wells drilled as production has increased during the first phase of expansion.
In addition to a full communications system, the tender documents include provision for extensive power supplies, battery back and a fibre optic network.
