Azur Congo Brazzaville, a subsidiary of group operator Bintel Ltd, has increased its investment in Redknee’s billing and customer care solution in response to the fast customer acquisition it has experienced since it launched in September 2010.

Since launching its Azur Congo operation in September 2010, Bintel Group has experienced rapid growth that has disrupted the highly competitive mobile market in the Republic of Congo. Redknee’s Turnkey Converged Billing (TCB) solution has enabled Azur Congo to achieve the benefits of a fully converged real-time billing and customer care platform such as delivering a high-value subscriber experience by quickly launching targeted promotions and services and the ability to offer electronic, prepaid wireless airtime top-ups.

Stephane Beuvelet, General Manager, Azur Congo Brazzaville commented: “Bintel is very pleased with the successful entry into the Republic of Congo. The launch of innovative new services and our focus on providing an advanced customer experience has shaken up the Republic of Congo’s market.”

In addition to its property in the Republic of Congo, Redknee works with the group mobile network operator in other African markets, including Gabon and Central African Republic.

Redknee’s TCB is a complete billing and customer care solution that delivers centralized business intelligence and a full suite of billing capabilities to operators around the globe. The solution extends beyond traditional billing and functions as a merchandising platform that optimizes and improves the overall subscriber service experience. As a result, network operators can manage partner relationships, quickly roll out new services and deliver targeted, real-time promotions to their subscribers.  Its real-time rating and charging capabilities enable triple and quad-play operators to process all payment types from a single platform – prepaid, postpaid and hybrid accounts can all be managed with ease.
