Developing TELECOMS understands that vendors’ news and announcements are a highly valuable source of information to site users in developing and emerging markets and we actively encourage vendors to supply us with information.

Where vendor sourced material is, in the opinion of the editor, of an advertising nature we may ask for a site listing fee for its inclusion. In particular this applies to press releases about new products and services, contract awards, agreements and appointments.

For white papers, case studies, executive interviews and company profiles we may ask for advertising or sponsorship payments. We also ask 'for profit' event organisers and publishers for payment to list their events and reports / publications on the site.

We do this because, unlike most other telecoms web sites, Developing TELECOMS is a free access site. To charge for access would prevent many thousands of site users in developing markets from using it. And we have to make a living, like everyone else.

All content material is published at the editor's discretion and the fact that a company is not willing to pay for a specific item does not mean it will not be used on the site. Equally, we do not use material which is not relevant to our editorial mission because a vendor is willing to pay for its inclusion.
