New offices, new chairman for Axerra PDF Print E-mail

Corporate, IP/Ethernet, Russia, Global:  Axerra Networks, a provider of circuit emulation and service emulation solutions, has recently opened a new office in Moscow covering Russia, the CIS and Baltic States...

This office will support new and existing customers in Russia, the CIS, and the Baltic States. It reflects a recent success for Axerra, when it completed a successful installation programme for the largest service provider in the Ural region of Russia, namely Ural SviazInform, which serves over 7 million subscribers. Ural SviazInform can now deliver a complete portfolio of services over an IP/Ethernet access network to local customers in the region.

Axerra’s General Manager in Russia, the CIS, and the Baltic States will be Roman Ferster who can offer nearly 20 years of experience in sales and business development, and a highly relevant decade in Russian, CIS, and Eastern European telecoms. What is more, before joining Axerra Roman Ferster was General Manager of RGRCOM, a leading telecoms distributor in Moscow.

In another key appointment, Axerra has appointed Shlomo Dovrat as Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Shlomo Dovrat, General Partner and Founder of Carmel Ventures, has been a prominent figure in the high-tech industry for over 20 years, and is also currently Chairman of ECI Telecom Ltd. Gadi Tamari remains CEO of Axerra Networks.
