With fmx users can utilise presence-based applications for mobile IM, e.g., as Chikka, MSN, Yahoo and others as well as an integrated native address book along with a host of integrated messaging features. fmX™ enables multimedia functionality such as text, picture and video messaging along with gaming, Voice Instant Messaging and business applications. These services deploy on both 2.5 and 3G networks, which Globe plans on launching in the near future.

The agreement brings fmx services to one of the world’s most advanced mobile telecommunications markets. The service, currently planned to be marketed under the Globe brand, will offer Filipino mobile phone users a one-of-a-kind integrated combination of integrated messaging and advanced multimedia messaging features.
