People: International Communications Group Inc (ICG) has appointed Homayoun “Kash” Kashanian Director of Engineering.
In addition to overseeing the engineering department, Mr Kashanian will also supervise new product development and work to improve the quality of existing products. “The appointment of Kash to this new position reflects ICG’s commitment to expanding our product portfolio and providing innovative communication solutions worldwide,” said Armin Jabs, president of ICG. “Kash will assume an active role in product design, conception and technological advancement.” Homayoun Kashanian has a strong background in hardware design, software development, design automation tools, systems, and product development, having held key leadership roles that have contributed significant value to leading manufacturers of technology-based products, backed by over 17 years of management experience. Prior to joining ICG, Kashanian was a manager for Teranetics, a venture-backed start-up in 10GBASE-T Ethernet. He has also worked for major Fortune 100 companies such as Intel Corporation and General Motors/Hughes Electronics. Mr Kashanian holds a BSc in electrical engineering from Merrimack College, an MSc in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MSc in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
