Knowledge, Africa, Tanzania: American Power Conversion (APC) is introducing the concept of Knowledge Exchange Forums to the Tanzanian market in order to bring valuable information to consulting engineers and their clients.
The Knowledge Exchange Forum will take place from 1730 on March 14, 2006, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Dar Es Salaam. “Following…previous forums in Denmark as well as Kenya and South Africa, and with APC’s understanding of the ever-changing market place, we decided to introduce this type of event to the local market, particularly in light of the needs of new server or data centre environments, which have raised issues not previously experienced with legacy-type data centres,” says Carl Kleynhans, country general manager: Africa at APC.The forum will cover updated information on the latest network-critical physical infrastructure (NCPI) solutions available from APC for solving data centre design problems. They include the company’s InfraStruXure offering an integrated, scalable solution for NCPI that incorporates not just the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) but also equipment racks and cooling along with many other features. The forum will be run by Barend Jonker, System Engineer for East and South Africa at APC. To reserve your place at the next Knowledge Exchange Forum, please contact Betty Ngala of Benn Communications on Tel: 254 20 828747 or e-mail:
