Based on its best practice principle of “inspect before you connect,” JDSU provides all the tools necessary to inspect, clean and perform power or attenuation measurements on fibre-optic connections in kits aimed at preventing costly network damage during installation, qualification and troubleshooting.

The kits include JDSU video fibre microscopes, optical cleaning tools, PocketClass or SMART optical light sources and optical power meters, as well as a visual fault locator (VFL).
