Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrint

Last year, the Bangladeshi government held a tender to provide International Gateways (IGW) and Inter?onnect Exchange services. Twenty six companies participated in the tender, with three of them receiving licenses for IGW and two for Inter?onnect Exchange.

ImageThree of the winning companies - Bangla Trac, M&H Telecom and Mir Telecom Ltd. - chose to confront the problem of managing transit traffic by using CBOSSinterconnect technology to automate their business procedures. All three deployments were implemented concurrently by CBOSS, and the projects were completed within just three weeks.

During this period, the solutions were prepared for commercial launch, which enabled customers to rate and bill interconnect traffic as well as provide first reports to regulatory bodies and partners. "CBOSS Corporation has deployed the project within the targeted time line. The rapid deployment has minimized our license-related risks and has reduced costs", said says Mr. Biplob Chandra Biswas, Head of Billing & IT at Mir Telecom Ltd.

Bangla Trac, M&H Telecom and Mir Telecom have made a successful start in the interconnect business, employing CBOSS solutions to provide regulatory bodies and partners with accurate data for transit traffic control and interconnect exchange.
