Under the agreement, Nokia will deliver WCDMA 3G radio access network infrastructure, and an extensive range of services including delivery, implementation, project management and care, as well as other support services. The system continues to be supported by the unique multi-technology Nokia NetAct solution, which supports both 2G and 3G networks. Deliveries will start immediately.
Nokia has been Cosmote's main GSM system supplier since 1997, providing network solutions for radio access, and circuit and packet core.
