3GVision has confirmed that it will be among the exhibitors at the 2010 GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The 3GVision stand will be dedicated to a wide variety of mobile barcode reading solutions including an advertising campaign tracking platform.

3GVision’s solutions help mobile operators maximise the full potential of mobile marketing and advertising campaigns, as well as encouraging mobile users to access rich content and services on the mobile internet.

With 3GVision’s popular i-nigma barcode reader, more than 150 million users worldwide use their mobile phone camera to scan and decode 1D/2D barcodes from newspapers, packaging, billboards and posters. By simply scanning QR and Data Matrix codes, users are directed to the web content that the barcodes relate to. This gives them instant mobile access to view videos, music, and favourite websites, plus the ability to receive directional maps, special discount offers and check online prices. Moreover, mobile users can send an SMS, make a call and even save contacts to their mobile address books - with no need to type URLs, scroll or search.

During the event, 3GVision will demonstrate a world map of live mobile barcode scans that will display current i-nigma user numbers and real-time mobile campaign metrics, analysing the results in real time. 3GVision will also demonstrate mobile payment solutions including barcode shopping with 1D barcodes; the latest mobile barcode applications and campaigns across the world; 1D, QR and Data Matrix barcode reading from iPhone and Android. Other solutions on display include how to use mobile barcodes to link traditional media to online media and how to transfer contact information from business cards directly to the mobile phone’s address book by using the mobile phone camera.

3GVision’s i-nigma is the industry’s most comprehensive mobile barcode solution, comprised of a barcode-creation, campaign management and reporting platform, providing comprehensive data about individual people interacting with mobile campaigns. Mobile operators use i-nigma to generate new revenue streams while advertisers, brands and content providers create innovative and engaging campaigns, linking static media to interactive mobile and web based content. Real time tracking on on-going campaign success, including number of codes scanned and response by location, time and media help advertisers and brands refine campaigns and measure return on investment.

3GVision will be exhibiting from February 15th to 18th at the GSM Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at Hall 2, Israel National Pavilion, stand 2C72.
